So that your V16 warning light is considered an officially approved safety product in road traffic, it must meet certain legal requirements.
These requirements are set out in the Spanish traffic regulation DGT 159/2021 and are gradually becoming the standard for modern breakdown lights throughout Europe.

So that you can rely on your warning light in an emergency, you should check whether your model is genuine, approved, and DGT-certified. Only original and tested V16 lights offer the required safety and visibility in road traffic.
